An overview of Romanian gender-neutral language
Although Romanian doesn't gramatically have a neutral pronoun to describe a person, that doesn't stop us from using any other pronoun as neutral, or inventing new ones. The most popular one of them all is the plural masculine „ei/lor”, though some may use the plural feminine „ele/lor” instead. That doesn't make them any less non-binary! As we all know, pronouns ≠ gender. Some non-binary people also tend to use neo-pronouns like „elx/lux” or any other english neo-pronoun.
As for the gendered words (adjectives and nouns), we try to append an „-ix” to the masculine forms of the specific adjective/noun. Therefore, „frumos/frumoasă” transforms into „frumosix”, and many other words follow this path as well.
